According to ANI, Mahatma Gandhi's statue, which was damaged due to fire, is located in Joura's Gandhi Park in Morena.

The Morena police have registered a case against unidentified people under section 295 of the Indian Penal Code and launched a hunt for the culprits.
Unfortunately, the incident was reported on the day when the nation is celebrating the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel.
Under IPC Section 295 a person shall be punishable with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both for injuring or defiling place of worship with intent to insult the religion of any class.
