Congress MLA from Indore instigated farmers` violence in Madhya Pradesh? Watch video

Indore: As the BJP and the Congress indulged in a war of words over the killing of five farmers in police firing in Madhya Pradesh, a controversial video has surfaced showing Congress MLA Jeetu Patwari indulging in altercation with sub divisional magistrate Sandeep Soni in Indore.

In the video, Soni is seen telling Patwari that he had promised him peaceful protest. “Will you now take responsibility for the flared-up violence,” Soni could be seen asking Patwari in the video.

Meanwhile, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi was today detained when he tried to defy ban orders enforced in Madhya Pradesh's Mandsaur district. He was taken into preventive custody by the police in Neemuch district which borders Rajasthan.

Farmers in Madhya Pradesh have been on strike since June 1 demanding that their loans be scrapped and their produce be bought at a fair price.
