Sidhi Lok Sabha constituency of Madhya Pradesh: Full list of candidates, polling dates

Sidhi is one of the 29 Lok Sabha constituencies in Madhya Pradesh state in central India. This constituency covers the entire Sidhi and Siangrauli districts and part of Shahdol district.

Sidhi registered 69.41 per cent voter turnout in 2019, a gain of 12.55 per cent. The total number of electors in the constituency is 1843936 while the total voter turnout is 1279958. While in 2014, the constituency registered 56.86 per cent voter turnout. The total number of electors in the constituency was 1735172 while the total voter's turnout was 986625.

Ajay Arjun Singh of Indian National Congress, Ram Lal Panika of Bahujan Samaj Party, Riti Pathak of Bharatiya Janata Party, Com. Sanjay Namdeo of Communist Party of India and Ashish Kumar Singh Chauhan of Shivsena are a few prominent candidates contesting for general election 2019 from Sidhi Lok Sabha constituency of Madhya Pradesh. 

Voting for Madhya Pradesh's 29 parliamentary constituencies took place in four phases between April 29 to May 19. Sidhi went to polls on April 29, the fourth of the seven-phase polls. The counting of votes will be held on May 23.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha election, BJP leader Riti Pathak had won from the seat, defeating Congress's Indrajeet Kumar with a margin of 241,301 votes.

Sidhi Lok Sabha constituency comprises of eight assembly segments — Churhat, Sidhi, Sihawal, Chitrangi, Singrauli, Deosar, Dhauhani and Beohari.
