Saran Lok Sabha Constituency, is one of 40 Lok Sabha constituencies in the eastern state of Bihar and went for the 2019 polls on May 6. This constituency came into existence following delimitation in 2008.
Saran registered 56.50 percent voter turnout in Lok Sabha Election 2019, a gain of 0.35 percent from 2014. The total number of electors in the constituency is 1661922 while 938974 came out to exercise their franchise. While in 2014, the constituency registered 56.15 percent voter turnout. The total number of electors in the constituency was 1535546 while 862274 voted.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha election, Rajiv Pratap Rudy of the Bharatiya Janata Party won by getting a margin of over 40 thousand votes. He had defeated former chief minister of Bihar Rabri Devi of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). Rudy had secured 355120 votes while Rabri Devi got 314172 votes.
