Narasaraopet is one of 25 Lok Sabha constituencies in Andhra Pradesh and has lured several political leaders across party lines each time elections beckon.

Narasaraopet registered 85.52 percent voter turnout in Lok Sabha Election 2019, a gain of 4.37 percent from 2014. The total number of electors in the constituency is 1669308 while 1427643 came out to exercise their franchise. While in 2014, the constituency registered 81.15     percent voter turnout. The total number of electors in the constituency was 1468088 while 1191418 voted.
