While people are sympathetic, things are lacking when it comes to facilities be it in trains, buses etc: PM.

I recall so many touching experiences when I was CM, when I interacted with the 'divyang' sisters and brothers: PM.

As a society, we have to ensure that together we have to care for all those who are 'divyang': PM.

I met a 'divyang' child called Rahul here. I was amazed at how he operated the computer: PM

Let us not think about what is lacking in a person, let us see what is the extra ordinary quality a person is blessed with: PM

Political rivals want to see me in getting into some controversy, but my focus is to solve your problems: PM.

I know that benefits of many schemes don't reach desired people because of middlemen, these camps eliminate roles of such people: PM

The result of such camps is that middlemen will get eliminated. And with middlemen getting eliminated, some people are getting worried: PM

Sometimes government schemes are misused. The camp for people with disabilities will ensure it doesn't happen: PM

I want to replace the term 'viklang' with 'divyang': Modi.

Our utmost concern is to take the benefits of development to the poor and needy of India: PM

PM Narendra Modi flags off Mahamana Express train in Varanasi.

PM Modi has arrived in Varanasi, will flag off Mahamana Superfast Express in a short while from now.

Through a series of tweets, the PM's Office today confirmed that Modi will be in Varanasi today and would also visit Lucknow.

PM will be in Varanasi. He will join Divyangjan Sashaktikaran Samaroh where assistive devices will be given to Divyang sisters & brothers.

Besides flagging-off the Mahamana Superfast Express, PM will also address 6th convocation ceremony of Dr Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University in Lucknow.

Those injured were supposed to meet PM Modi today.

At least 22 people have been injured in the incident.

A bus carrying differently-abled people rammed into a pole near Varanasi.

More than 350 buses of UP Roadways have been engaged to collect the beneficiaries from their doorsteps to attend the ceremony.

PM Modi is expected to talk to five differently-abled children who have recently gone through cochlear implant surgeries.

The Prime Minister will also personally hand over the artificial limbs, tricycles and other equipment to some of the beneficiaries.

During his Varanasi visit, the PM will also distribute aids to over nine thousand differently-abled people.

The train will cover the 800 km distance in less than 14 hours.

The train also has new renovated and refurbished AC-coaches fitted with led screen.

The train is fully equipped with the modern facilities with dustbins and bio-toilets in every coach.

It will run between Varanasi and Delhi via Lucknow thrice a week.

Upon his arrival in Varanasi, PM Modi will flag off Mahamana Superfast Express, which has been named after Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya - the founder of the Banaras Hindu University.

This is Prime Minister Modi's fifth visit to his constituency after assuming office in May, 2014.

PM Modi is scheduled to visit Varanasi today.
