Manipur Exit Poll 2017: As it happened
On Thursday, re-polling was held in 34 polling stations in the state after malpractices were found in the poll process in eight assembly constituencies.

Imphal: The exit polls on Thursday predicted a BJP victory in Manipur Assembly Elections 2017, with CVoter anticipating 25-31 seats for the saffron party in the 60-member Legislative Assembly. The survey also predicted the Congress to bag 17-23 seats while regional parties garnering nine seats.
Manipur saw a record turnout of 86 percent in the two-phase polling on March 2 and 8. On Thursday, re-polling was held in 34 polling stations in the state after malpractice were found in the poll process in eight assembly constituencies. The polling started at 7 am concluded at 3 pm.
The state had recorded overall 79.80 percent turnout in 2012.
The counting of votes in Manipur will be taken up on March 11, along with four other states -- Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Uttar Pradesh, where Assembly polls were held.
