And that's also stumps! India would be very happy with the position they are in at the moment and South Africa now need a miracle to avoid another defeat in the series

Jadeja completed his five-wicket haul when AB tried to hit him over the deep cover boundary and was brilliantly caught by Ishant Sharma. Ashwin picked his second wicket of the match when Tahir mistimed one towards deep midwicket, where Lokesh Rahul took another good catch. Two good catches and South Africa have been bowled out for 121. India have already taken a huge 213-run lead. Trouble for South Africa once again!

Jadeja picked his fourth wicket of the match when Piedt edged one that spun away from him into Rahane's safe hands at slips. With just two wickets remaining, AB is now likely to get into the T20 mode.

Vilas was bowled by Ishant off a ball which swung into the batsman after pitching. Surprisingly, after six wickets fell, Ashwin picked his first of the match in form of Abbott who was trapped in front of the wicket. There are no demons in this pitch but the Proteas batsmen are once again looking in a hurry to reach the pavilion.

Even a batsman like AB is finding it difficult to score runs. Vilas is there to give him company, but if South Africa have to put any fight here, AB will have to play a special innings.

Jadeja picked another wicket as Faf du Plessis was caught by Rahane after he tried to play a paddle-scoop. JP Duminy was the next man in and his stay wasn't for long as he played one for a wrong line and the stumps were uprooted. Dale Vilas joins AB at the crease and it would be interesting to see AB's approach from here onwards.

Jadeja was introduced in the 20th over of the innings and he took just five balls to strike and ended Bavuma's resilience off the last ball. Amla was once again finding it hard to score runs and he became Jadeja's second scalp when he tried to play a cut shot and was caught behind the wicket! AB de Viliers and Faf du Plessis are the two new batsmen at the crease and their team desperately need a partnership here.

TEA: South Africa might not have lost too many wickets, but they also haven't scored too many runs. Bavuma has shown lot of promise so far and he has an opportunity to prove that he deserves to be a regular member of the squad. Amla, on the other hand, would be desperate for a big score here.

Over 15 | India 22/0 (Bavuma 19*, Amla 1*)

Umesh Yadav got India their first breakthrough when Dean Elgar edged one behind the wicket. It looked like a soft dismissal as the left-hander had done the hard work early in the innings. Hashim Amla is the new man in, huge moment for him since he has had a pathetic series so far.

Over 10 | India 22/0 (Elgar 11*, Bavuma 11*)

South African openers are still there at the crease since just one over of spin has been bowled in the first ten overs. Ashwin bowled his first over in the ninth over and it's about time that Kohli introduces Jadeja from the other end.

13:26 IST

Over 5 | India 10/0 (Elgar 6*, Bavuma 4*)

South African openers have made a cautious start against Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav. Since Piedt got good purchase from the wicket, it remains to be seen how soon will Kohli introduce his spinners.

12:36 IST

Over 118 | India 334/10 (Yadav 10*)

Kyle Abbott was rewarded for some good bowling as he dismissed Ashwin and Ishant Sharma in three balls as India were bowled out for 334. Ashwin and Yadav added valuable 38 runs for the 9th-wicket partnership. India would be very happy with the total considering they were 139/6 at one stage.

Over 113 | India 326/8 (Ashwin 53*, Yadav 5*)

LUNCH! It was India's session as a result of that 98-run partnership between Rahane and Ashwin. Ashwin did well to continue on the good work and it would be good from India's perspective if he can take India past 370-80.

11:26 IST

Over 111 | India 323/8 (Ashwin 50*, Yadav 5*)

Ashwin, who is known for his elegant batting, has once again hit a half-century for the team under tough circumstances. He launched Tahir over long-on to bring his fifty. India are now totally on the driver's seat.

11:02 IST

Over 105 | India 296/8 (Ashwin 28*, Yadav 0*)

Imran Tahir got South Africa a much-needed breakthrough when he removed Rahane in his 10th over. Tahir was bowling full and quick in the over and Rahane hit one straight to AB de Villiers at short cover. The wicket also ended the 98-run stand for the 8th wicket. Umesh Yadav is the new man in and since he has recently hit a ton in ongoing season of Ranji Trophy, we can expect him to play some lusty blows against the spinners.

Over 100 | India 281/7 (Rahane 116*, Ashwin 24*)

Rahane and Ashwin continue to consolidate Indian innings. Both the batsmen are batting with ease, and loking at the way they are batting, one might wonder why have the Indian batsmen have struggled against spinners. Hashim Amla would be a worried skipper as his bowlers have failed to dismiss Ashwin.

10:18 IST

Over 94 | India 257/7 (Rahane 100*, Ashwin 20*)

Rahane played a magnificent straight drive against Abbott in the 94th over of the innings to bring his maiden ton on Indian soil. His first four tons came at Wellington, Lord's, Melbourne and Colombo. He would be a relieved man and it's a relief for all other players since it's the first ton of the series as well. The partnership is now worth 59 runs for the eighth wicket.

09:57 IST

Over 90 | India 243/7 (Rahane 93*, Ashwin 13*)

South African bowlers have bowled with an accurate line and length so far and both Rahane and Ashwin, have been very patient. Morkel however needs to bowl full, something which got him key wickets in the third Test.

09:39 IST

Over 86 | India 234/7 (Rahane 91*, Ashwin 7*)

Morne Morkel and Kyle Abbott started the proceedings for the visitors considering the conditions in Delhi which are likely to assist the spinners in the first hour. There was a caught behind appeal down the leg side against Rahane but Dharamsena wasn't interested.

09:11 IST

Surprisingly, none of the batsmen have managed to hit a century in the series so far and thus Rahane is just 11 runs away from becoming the first one to do so.

08:54 IST

Rahane has silenced all those who began questioning his skills. He has performed well for India overseas and a ton at the Feroz Shah Kotla will show once again why he has been the most consistent batsman of this Indian squad in all formats of the game.
