Bumrah starts with a perfect yorker and Wade gets a single. He then bowls full and straight to castle Hastings. Tye comes in and Bumrah bowls a dot before the batsman smashes him for a four. Another full ball sees him get a dot. He cleans him up in the last ball.

Wade launches the ball in the stands off Ashwin. A nice comeback sees two dots follow. Hastings drives Nehra to long-on for one. Experience shows as Nehra bowls low and full. Two more singles are taken, Aussies need sixes here. Hastings chips it on the leg side for a single. Six singles from that over.

Jadeja comes to bowl and after 3 singles, Faulkner launches the ball for a huge six. An inside edge sees him get a brace. Big over for the Aussies here. Faulkner goes for another heave and the ball hits his bat into Dhoni's pads and cracks the stumps. Dhoni appeals and his foot is outside the line.

Finch runs a risky single and is hamstring issues is back as he is run out for 74. Ashwin concedes just two from the over.

Jadeja comes to bowl and Watson gets two runs as Umesh fields exceptionally well in the deep to save a four. Next ball Watson hits straight to Jadeja who pulls off an excellent catch. Wade comes in as three singles follow. Aussies need 61 runs in last five overs.

Yuvi continues and Finch doesn't get a run. Next ball is a single before Ashwin dives well to restrict any run. Another dot follows as Watson drills it back to Yuvi. Three runs come from the last two deliveries.

Pandya continues and Watson gets a regulation edge for four. Another boundary comes next as Watson steers it between the short third man and backward point. Two runs come from the last ball.

Yuvraj gets the ball and what an over. Just three runs and a wicket from it. Maxwell goes for a big shot and Dhoni gets a quick stumping done.

Marsh rotates the strike again as Ashwin gets a dot in the next ball. Finch hits it over the leg side and substitute fielder Rishi Dhawan misses a tough catch. Next ball is a sitter and now Dhawan drops it. A wide follows next. Next ball Marsh decides to go big and Pandya completes a catch. What an over this! Chris Lynn comes to bat and gets off the mark.

Flat delivery by Jadeja sees Marsh hit through long-on for one. Finch then belts a ball for a six as Umesh Yadav tries to get hold off it but the shot was firm. Marsh is the perfect foil here getting important singles and allowing Finch to hit the biggies. 11 come from that Jadeja over.

10 runs come from Ashwin's first over as Finch welcomed him with a six. He also got to his fifty in the process.

Finch looks in good touch here and picks a brace off Jadeja. Marsh then goes for a swing and Dhoni misses a stumping chance. Finch  completes the over with a single. 

Over 6 | Score 62/0 | (Finch 43*, Marsh 16*)

Bumrah continues and Marsh gives him the treatment with a shot for four. Finch then chips over mid-on for four​. This is excellent batting by the hosts. A dot ball follows next before Finch gets another boundary. A single to end the over.

Over 5 | Score 48/0 | (Finch 34*, Marsh 11*)

Dhoni shows his faith in Nehra and he starts off with a dot. A straight ball sees him get a brace next. Two singles follow after that. India need a wicket here as Aussies are chasing well. Finch cuts off his leg to get another two. He is playing the shots very late which is a positive. Next ball is cut through point region for four. 

Over 4 | Score 38/0 | (Finch 26*, Marsh 10*)

Bumrah continues and Finch gets a top edge for four. Four singles come apart from that boundary. Aussies off to a flier here.

Over 3 | Score 30/0 | (Finch 20*, Marsh 9*)

Nehra gets the perfect punishment and his short balls are whacked for two fours and a three. Fich with the boundaries there. 16 runs come from the over as Finch gets a four off the last ball.

Over 2 | Score 14/0 | (Finch 7*, Marsh 6*)

Nehra starts off with the proceedings and gives away just four runs in the over. Bumrah shares the new ball with Nehra and Shaun Marsh rocks past midwicket for four. Two dots follow before Marsh hits an excellent shot but Kohli is better who dives to stop a genuine four. Bumrah then gets driven for four by Finch.

Kohli gets a yorker carved out past extra cover for four. It brings up his 50. Tye then bowls a good ball as Dhoni who tries to get a big shot holds out on long-off and is caught. Raina comes to bat and the duo run a close two but Maxwell's throw comes at an uneven height and Tye misses it. A single comes off the last ball.

Over 19 | Score 174/2 | (Kohli 49*, Dhoni 14*)

Dhoni goes for the ball and misses, it was pretty wide. Next ball is powerfully carved straight for a four as Faulkner watches. A run comes next for Dhoni. Kohli lifts þhe ball towards off side and the ball falls short of the fielder. Another wide ball and Dhoni connects for a single. Good over by Faulkner here just eight runs come from it.

Kohli hits through midwicket for a brace. Low full-toss next and Kohli gets another brace. Good running here from the duo. A scoop over square point sees Kohli get another boundary. A single brings Dhoni to strike and the skipper connects over square leg for a four. A single comes from the last ball.

Dhoni comes out to bat ahead of Yuvraj and Raina. Tye bowls a decent over with a dot, four singles and a boundary. Kohli key here as India eye a total in excess of 180 runs.

Lovely placement by Kohli earns him a four. Watson then concedes four singles before the duo call for a second run which wasn't there and Rohit is run out.

Rohit attempts a big shot but manages to get a brace as the ball lands safely. A late cut to 3rd man gives him a single before Kohli gets a brace. Next ball is lofted for a huge six. Excellent batting by Kohli here. Last ball is a yorker outside off stump and Kohli gets a single.

Kohli hits a fantastic upper cut to get a boundary off Hastings. Wide length ball and Kohli sends it over extra-cover for another four. A dot ball follows but Kohli then chips the final ball over extra-cover for his 3rd four.

Watson comes back to bowl and Sharma tries to work it towards leg and the ball hits his thighs. Next ball is placed well of third man for a four. 50 runs up for Rohit. Three more singles from that over which also sees Kohli get off the mark. Big shout for a LBW but the batsman run to get a single anyway. Tye then rolls his arm and mixes it up well as Kohli struggles to do much. Kohli gets the shot fine and picks a brace. Quick run comes from a misfield. An inside edge off Rohit gets India a run. 

Over 11 | Score 97/1 | (Rohit 47*, Dhawan 41)

With the last two overs going quiet, Rohit starts off this Maxwell over with a huge six. A brace is collected next before the strike is rotated. Dhawan then rolls for a single next before Rohit gets through long on for a single. Maxwell then gets Dhawan who departs after Lynn takes a catch at point.

Maxwell comes in to bowl and gives away six singles. Good bowling under the circumstances. Scott Boland comes back to bowl and Sharma picks a single. Dhawan then defends from the crease. A deviation takes place in the next ball as Dhawan tries to play it towards third man and misses. A cheeky close single is taken next and the strike is rotated. A good ball next as Rohit misses, this is good stuff from Boland. Another close single comes next as the fielder has a shy at the stumps.

Lyon comes in and Rohit gets a single. Dhawan then hits square of the wicket and the duo run well to get a brace. Next is a height no-ball as Dhawan gets a single. It is a free-hit and Rohit smashes a half-volley over long on for a six. Nice batting here from ROhit as he gets a single next to rotate the strike. Another shot through square of the wicket and same result comes (2 runs). A single is taken next.

Faulkner starts off well in his 2nd over and beats Dhawan. The next ball is defended again. Dhawan then gets a four after a miss-hit shot sees the ball go to the fence. Next ball is short and Dhawan guides it over the keeper's head for six. Two singles come next.

Andrew Tye makes his debut and a thick inside edge sees Rohit get a brace before two singles are run. Rohit then goes for a shot but misses to connect with the bat. Dhawan hits a base ball shot and gets a single. 50 runs partnership comes up.

Faulkner replaces Boland and Rohit welcomes him with a four through fine leg. Two singles are taken next before Rohit drives it over mid-off. A yorker next and Rohit steers it between slip and short third-man.

Over 4 | Score 29/0 | (Rohit 6*, Dhawan 17*)

Rohit frees his arms and smacks Hastings over cover for four. A flick sees him pick a single next. Dhawan then hits through point for a four. He comes forward and gets that shot with the middle of his bat. He then heaves it over and clears the midwicket fence for a six. Another good shot sees him pick a brace. No consistency from Hastings as India finally get a move on.

Boland replaces Watson and starts with a short ball as Dhawan scampers for a single. Next ball is pretty tight and Rohit defends to cover region. Another swing of the bat and miss, the ball dips away a bit. Good bowling here from Boland who is hitting the deck. Next ball is again delivered good on the off stump and Rohit has another miss. A single is taken next by Rohit. Dhawan then swings and misses. 

Over 2 | Score 10/0 | (Rohit 4*, Dhawan 5*)

Dhawan gets off the mark in the first ball bowled by Hastings with a whip down the leg side for a four. The next four balls are defended for no run. Important for batsmen here to rotate the strike as boundaries won't be easy. A single is taken of the last ball and Dhawan keeps strike.

Watson starts off with the proceedings as Rohit defends the first ball. Next ball the movement misses the bat of Rohit. Swing and some seam here for Watson. Rohit then gets off the mark with a shot down his legs and gets a four. He flashes again and misses.
