Bihar Exit Polls: Today's Chanakya predicts landslide win for NDA; others give advantage to JD(U)+

Lalu Prasad says even if RJD gets more seats than JD(U), Nitish Kumar will be the Bihar Chief Minister.

It may be recalled that Today's Chanakya exit poll was also bang on in predicting the outcome of the 2014 Lok Sabha polls and Delhi Assembly Elections earlier this year.

The results of the News 24-Today's Chanakya exit poll is out and it has predicted a resounding win for the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance:

NDA: 155 (+-11)

JD(U)+: 83 (+-9)

Others: 5 (+-3)

Final voter turnout for Bihar Assembly Elections is out: 56.80%

Results of two more exit polls are out:

News Nation:

NDA: 115-119

JD(U)+: 120-124

Others: 3-5

CNX/News X exit poll:

NDA: 90-100

JD(U)+: 130-140

Others: 13-23

The consolidated results of ABP-Nielsen exit poll are now out and Grand Alliance is ahead: 

NDA: 108

JD(U)+: 130

ABP-Nielsen exit poll's fifth phase predictions are also out:

NDA: 24

Addressing a press conference, RJD chief Lalu Prasad says the BJP tried to polarise the state in the run-up to elections. "Narendra Modi ne jo Bihariyon ko gaali dia, aur mujhe 'shaitan' kaha, uska logon ne serious notice lia," says Lalu.

Out of more than 65000 polling stations, re-polling was conducted at only two due to minor error, historical: Deputy Election Commissioner Umesh Sinha.

As per ABP-Nielsen predictions for fourth phase, NDA is ahead of the Grand Alliance:

NDA: 33

JD(U)+: 20

Others: 2

In the 243-member Bihar Legislative Assembly, the magic figure to win is 122.

ABP-Nielsen has predicted a victory for JD(U)+ in the third phase:

NDA: 13

JD(U)+: 37

Others: 0

ABP-Nielsen figures are also out for first two phase.

First phase:

NDA: 22

JD(U): 25

Second phase:

NDA: 16

Second exit poll results are out. India TV-CVoter has predicted: 

NDA: 101-121

JD(U): 112-132

First exit poll results are out. India Today Group-Cicero has predicted a neck and neck fight in Bihar:

NDA: 113-127 seats

JD(U)+: 111-123 seats

Others: 4-8 seats

The exit poll results have results have taken into consideration full polling in four phases and till 3 pm in fifth phase.

Campaigning for the Bihar Assembly Elections had been acrimonious, with almost every leader resorting to personal attacks.

59.46% polling recorded for the 5th and final phase of Bihar polls.

BJP leader Anant Kumar has expressed confidence about BJP's win in the Bihar polls, and said the state will earn freedom from 'jungle raj'.

Meanwhile, there is an update on Jan Adhikar Party leader Pappu Yadav - he has fallen ill and will be flown to Delhi in an air ambulance.

As per ANI, 59.46% polling has been recorded in the fifth and final phase of Bihar polls.

RJD chief Lalu Prasad is claiming that the Grand Alliance will win 180-190 out 243 seats in the elections.

Voting has concluded in the fifth phase of Bihar Assembly Elections 2015. While official results will be out only on November 8 (Sunday), exit poll predictions will start coming in shortly.

ANI is reporting that 55.90% polling has been recorded till 4 pm in the 5th phase.

57 constituencies spread over nine districts have gone to vote in the fifth and final phase of Assembly Elections in Bihar.

 As per reports, 51.85% voting has been recorded till 3 pm in final phase of Bihar polls.

Polling is about to conclude in the fifth phase of Bihar Assembly Elections 2015. Voting officially closes at 5 pm; however, those standing in queues will be allowed to cast their votes post 5 pm.
