4-year-old girl sexually assaulted by teacher at prominent Kolkata school

Kolkata: A 4-year-old girl was allegedly sexually abused by a teacher in a prominent Kolkata school.

The kindergarten student was allegedly abused inside a toilet during school hours.
 
A physical education teacher at a high-profile school in the city allegedly lured the girl into the toilet where the sexual assault happened.
 
The girl returned home with blood stains on her uniform and was reportedly crying inconsolably. Her mother noticed bleeding from her genital area. The child was then rushed to the hospital, where doctors told the parents about the sexual assault.
 
The child recounted her horror to her parents and identified the physical education teacher from a photo. She has undergone tests, results of which are expected soon.
 
The parents have registered an FIR with the Kolkata Police.
