'Hindu Adhiveshan' to be held at Goa from June 14 to 17

The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti would organise its sixth Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Adhiveshan at Goa from June 14 to 17, its state co-ordinator Guruprasad has said.

Mangaluru: The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti would organise its sixth Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Adhiveshan at Goa from June 14 to 17, its state co-ordinator Guruprasad has said.

The conclave was aimed at bringing together followers of Hinduism from over 20 countries for propagating the idea of establishing a 'Hindu Rashtra' in the country with a 'rich Hindu majority,' he said in a statement here.

The meet would discuss issues detrimental to the collective interests of Hindus and demand removal of Article 370 of the Constitution to enable rehabilitation of Hindus in Jammu and Kashmir, he said.

The Samiti had organised protests at Mangaluru, Udupi, Bengaluru, Hubli, Shivmogga and Vijayapura demanding that the Army be given a free hand in dealing with stone pelters against soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir.

Guruprasad demanded that the government take stringent action against people pelting stones at soldiers, declaring them as traitors.

Cow slaughter should be banned as it was against Hindu values, the statement said.

More than 400 delegates from India and abroad would participate in the session at Goa, the statement said.
