File Photo CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu school education department to announce the Class 10 and 12 board exams schedule today. School education minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi will release the schedule. The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu will release the Classes 10th, 12th timetable 2023 online on their official website - dge.tn.gov.in. The Tamil Nadu SSLC, HSC exam 2023 are likely to be conducted in March 2023. Last year, the Tamil Nadu Board conducted the exams for Class 12 students from May 5 while Class 11 exams began on May 9. The Class 10 exams were conducted from May 6, 2022. The public exams for Class 12 students were held from May 5 to May 28 and Class 11 examinations were conducted from May 9 to May 31 while for Class 10 students the exams were held from May 6 to May 30, 2022.
The practical exams for Classes 10, 11, and 12 were held from April 25, 2022. It may be noted that public exams were not held for the academic years 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The state board declared the Higher Secondary School Certificate Plus 2 (Class 12) and Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) or Class 10th results on June 20, 2022. Around 93.76 per cent of students declared pass in Plus Two while 90.07 per cleared in SSLC. More than 25 lakh students appeared for these examinations across the state.
