Delhi Police van carrying Shraddha Walkar murder accused Aftab Poonawalla attacked, two held
The police van carrying Aftab Amin Poonawala was attacked outside Forensic Science Laboratory in Delhi's Rohini where he was taken for a polygraph test.

New Delhi: The Police van carrying Shraddha murder accused Aftab Poonawalla was attacked by at least 2 men carrying swords who claim to be from Hindu Sena, outside FSL office in Delhi. The Incident took place around 6.45 in the evening outside the Forensic Science Laboratory in Rohini where Aftab was taken for a polygraph test on Monday (November 28).
In a video shared by news agency ANI, men were seen trying to open the door of police van carrying Aftab and attacking it with swords.
A car stopped the police van in the evening after overtaking it. A few people came out of the car and started attacking the van carrying Poonawala, said the police, according to PTI.

In the clip a police personnel is seen coming out of the van to drive away the attackers however they stick to their positions and continue to attack the van. Another police personnel comes out with a gun to stop the attackers and make their way for the van.
The van was driven out of the spot while two attackers were detained and in one of the clips, a few attackers claimed that they belonged to a right-wing group and that their intention was to avenge the killing of Shraddha Walkar by chopping Poonawala into pieces, reported PTI.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) G S Sidhu said, "Two persons have been detained for questioning."
According to the police, the two detained have been identified as Kuldeep and Nigam. Further legal action will be taken as per the law, they said.
Reacting to the incident, Hindu Sena national president Vishnu Gupta told PTI, "Whatever these activists have done is by reacting to their personal feelings. The whole country got to know how Poonawala cut a Hindu girl into pieces."
"The organisation does not support any such work which is against the Constitution of India. We believe in the law," he said.
Shraddha Walkar Murder Case
Aftab Ameen Poonawala allegedly strangled his live-in partner to death and chopped off her body before dumping them at various locations across the capital. He reportedly strangled 26-year-old Shraddha on May 18 and then chopped her body into 35 pieces.
