PM Modi's UAE visit live updates: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today (June 28, 2022) has reached UAE after attending the G7 Summit in Germany. In the UAE, PM Modi will convey his personal condolences on the passing away of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the former UAE President and Abu Dhabi ruler.

Earlier on Monday, he had highlighted India's efforts for green growth, clean energy, sustainable lifestyles and global wellbeing, at the G7 summit session. During his two-day visit to Germany, he also met his counterparts from the UK, Japan and Italy and exchanged views on a range of issues with them.

Meanwhile, here are updates on Maharashtra Political Crisis:

Rebel Shiv Sena MLA Eknath Shinde has announced that he will be returning to Mumbai with his group of rebel MLAs from Guwahati after camping there for days in defiance against the Uddhav Thackeray camp. While Maharashtra CM Uddhav has claimed that he is in touch with around 20 MLAs from Shinde's camp, the latter has refused these claims and said they are false.

A total of 48 rebel MLAs of Maharashtra including 39 rebel MLAs of Shiv Sena are staying at Radisson Blu Hotel in Guwahati since June 22.

Amid this political turmoil, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis landed in Delhi on Tuesday (June 28) to discuss the situation in the Maha Vikas Aghadi government of Maharashtra.

This took place despite Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut warning the BJP and Devendra Fadnavis to not get involved in the crisis unfolding in the MVA government. "If they do, then their party (BJP), Fadnavis and PM Modi's names will be tarnished," Raut said.
