Mann Ki Baat: PM Modi condemns Dera unrest, says violence in the name of faith unacceptable

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed the nation through his monthly radio programme,‘Mann Ki Baat’. In the wake of recent violence by Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh supporters, PM Modi said that India is the land of Lord Buddha, Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel, no acts of violence is acceptable in the country.

The Prime Minister also recalled his meeting with 6 women officers of Indian Navy, who would circumnavigate the globe on INSV Tarini. 

All India Radio (AIR) and Doordarshan broadcasted the 35th episode of Mann Ki Baat. Apart from Hindi, the radio series is available in 20 other languages.
