Aiming at Lok Sabha Polls, Congress is organising multiple rallies to raise its Vote Bank in upcoming general elections. Party senior KC Venugopal informed that two Mega Rallies are going to be held on 6th April in Jaipur and Hyderabad. Additionally, he also mentioned that the party will release its election manifesto on April 5.

After vast deliberations with people from across the country, the Congress will be releasing its vision document, the Manifesto, on 5th April at AICC HQ.

Lok Sabha Elections 2024: 'Won't take any coercive step to recover Rs 1700 crores from Congress,' I-T Tells SC

The Income Tax department told the Supreme Court that it will refrain from taking any coercive measures to recover Rs 1700 crores from the Congress party during the Lok Sabha elections. Urging the SC to postpone the matter for hearing until June, the department emphasized its commitment to avoid creating disruptions for any political party amidst the electoral process.

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, representing the Income Tax department, assured the Supreme Court that no coercive actions would be pursued against the Congress party during the elections, a stance acknowledged and recorded by the Court.
