While addressing the rally at Sidhi, Madhya Pradesh, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh sang a song for the grand old party and said that Congress and corruption share an unbreakable bond, "There is an unbreakable bond between Congress and corruption...There was a song called 'Tu chal main aayi,' Congress and corruption have the same relationship...You must have seen wherever Congress comes, corruption reaches there too...The party is declining...Who is the famous finisher in Cricket? MS Dhoni; So, if anybody asks me who is the top finisher of Indian politics, then it would be Rahul Gandhi..."

Congress MP Jairam Ramesh slammed PM Modi for diverting the attention of people from the injustice that happened in the last 10 years.  "The Prime Minister never talks about the public, he wants to divert attention from what the public issues, farmers' issues, youth issues, women's issues, workers' issues are, which is the reality of the 10 years of injustice. They gave a clean chit to China and because of that clean chit, we have become weak today," Jairam Ramesh said.

"The Prime Minister says that Congress adopted the policy of the Muslim League, let me remind the Prime Minister, in 1940, 1941 and 42, which person, which Muslim party, was in the coalition government with the Muslim League, in Bengal. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, who was the founder of the Jana Sangh, was the President of the Hindu Mahasabha and he formed a coalition government with the Muslim League. In Bengal, in Sindh and the Northwest Frontier Province, there was an alliance between the Hindu Mahasabha and the Muslim League. Today, if we talk about Congress, they always adopt divisive politics and the Prime Minister is ready to encourage social polarization on any issue," he added.

Lok Sabha Elections 2024: 'You Need A Budget...', Sitharaman Mocks Congress' Manifesto

On the Congress manifesto, Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that they didn't have a budget to fulfil their promises.

"On the Congress manifesto, I will take the example of Karnataka only. To win here (during the Assembly elections) they gave a huge manifesto (promises), those manifestos made them win but to fulfil those promises you need a budget and DY Shivakumar himself said they don't have funds for the development after which there was a huge financial burden... If in one state there is such a huge burden because of them (Congress government), then should the people of the country trust their promises (the current manifesto released by the Congress party)?..." Sitharaman said.

Addressing the rally at Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur, PM Modi Slammed out Congress on the manifesto released yesterday, "The Congress that fought for independence ceased to exist decades ago. Now, the remaining Congress lacks both policies in the interest of the nation and a vision for nation-building. The kind of manifesto that Congress released yesterday has proven that today's Congress is completely disconnected from the hopes and aspirations of today's India," Modi said.

"The Congress manifesto reflects the same mindset that was present in the Muslim League during the independence movement. The Congress manifesto is completely reminiscent of the Muslim League, and whatever small portion remains reflects the dominance of the leftists. Congress doesn't seem to be visible anywhere in this," he added.
