In Karnataka, political parties are becoming more competitive ahead of the Assembly elections. The Karnataka Assembly elections are less than a week away, and all the political parties are doing all in their power to win the vote. A day after the Bharatiya Janata Party announced its election pledges, the Congress Party released its election manifesto on Tuesday. The manifesto was unveiled in Bengaluru in the presence of party leaders, including Mallikarjun Kharge, Dr. Parameshwaraji, and former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramiah. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak at three electoral rallies on Wednesday in Mudabidre, Ankola, and Baihongal and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the general secretary of the Congress, will hold two rallies and a roadshow in the state. Karnataka will go to the polls on May 10, and the counting of votes will take place on May 13.

'People Of Karnataka Will Reject Gaali politics', Claims PM Modi

PM Modi claimed that the opposition was participating in "gaali politics" when speaking to a crowd in Ankola, and he asserted that the people of Karnataka will reject "this politics of abuse." "The opposition only understands 'Gaali politics'. They mistreat us because they can't defeat us. The voters will teach Congress a lesson for mistreating me because the people of Karnataka reject abusive politics," he remarked.

'BJP Has Looted Rs 1.5 Crores...', Alleges Priyanka Gandhi

At a rally today, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi claimed that the BJP government had looted Rs 1.5 lakh crore from Karnataka. "They (the BJP) have looted Karnataka of Rs 1.5 lakh crore over the past three and a half years." With that money, they could have erected 30 lakh low-income homes, 30,000 smart classrooms, and 100 AIIMS hospitals. She was cited by the news agency ANI as stating, "Today they cannot discuss your issues in front of you, so every day they raise some new issue that has nothing to do with your development."

Bajrang Dal To Recite 'Hanuman Chalisa' To Counter Congress

A day after the Congress pledged in its election manifesto to outlaw the group, the Bajrang Dal has made the decision to hold "Hanuman Chalisa" recital concerts across Karnataka on Thursday. In its manifesto for the Karnataka Assembly elections on May 10, the opposition Congress stated that it was dedicated to taking tough and decisive action against people and groups inciting hate among communities on the basis of caste and religion. "'Dharma' is in danger right now, and the only way to survive is to stand together. "To defend the dharma, we should put aside our differences and band together," the right-wing group said in a statement. The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) also endorsed the request.

PM Narendra Modi Meets Padma Awardees

Today, Tulsi Gowda, an environmentalist who received the Padma Award, and Sukri Bommagowda, a folk artist, met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The "encyclopedia of forests" and a member of the Halakki tribe from the Uttara Kannada district is Tulsi Gowda. She has planted more than 30,000 saplings and is quite knowledgeable about a wide variety of plant and herb species. PM Modi To Take Out 36-km Roadshow In Bengaluru On Saturday

On May 6, according to Bengaluru Central Lok Sabha member P. C. Mohan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would conduct a 36.6-kilometer roadshow here. According to Mohan, the roadshow would swing through each of the city's 17 Assembly districts as part of the BJP's campaigning for the Karnataka Assembly elections on May 10. According to Mohan, the Prime Minister would go 10.1 kilometers from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 26.5 kilometers from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Karnataka Minister Slams Congress Over Bajrang Dal Ban Pledge

Karnataka Energy Minister V. Sunil Kumar criticized the Congress party's pledge to outlaw Bajrang Dal if they win the election, saying the action was taken to please Muslims. The minister said in a series of tweets that Bajrang Dal is not an anti-social group and that it works to defend the Hindu community and gomata (mother cow). The Bajrang Dal, whose state convenor was Kumar, described itself as a group of activists willing to make any sacrifice for the Hindu cause.
