US leads world in coronavirus COVID-19 deaths, crosses 20,000 mark : The death toll in the United States of America due to coronavirus COVID-19 jumped to over 20,000, which is more than any other country in the world, according to a tally from Johns Hopkins University. s per John Hopkins University, the US death toll climbed to 20,608 at 10:30 AM IST on Sunday. It is to be noted that Italy has reported 19,468 deaths so far.

Jharkhand: A 60-year-old coronavirus patient died in Ranchi on Sunday. The patient belonged to the Hindpiri area of Ranchi. This is the second death due to COVID-19 in the state.

Centre extends deadline till June 30 to deposit money in Public Provident Fund, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana: In a major relief for Public Provident Fund (PPF) and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana (SSY) investors, the Union Finance Ministry on Saturday issued a notification extending the deadline to make deposits in these schemes for the financial year 2019-20 (FY20) till June 30, 2020.
