PM Narendra Modi begins address to nation on Ayodhya land dispute.

"This legal dispute of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, which has been going on for decades, reached its final step with this decision today. I congratulate the justice system of India and all the justices," says Union Home Minister Amit Shah after the SC verdict in Ayodhya case.

"Shri Ram Janmabhoomi strives for legal dispute; I express my gratitude to all the organizations, Sant Samaj of the entire country and countless unknown people who have tried it for so many years," Shah tweets in Hindi on his official handle.

"I am confident that this landmark judgment given by the Supreme Court will prove to be a milestone in itself. This decision will further strengthen India's unity, integrity and great culture," says Home Minister.

The Indian National Congress releases statement after the verdict in Ayodhya case and says it respects the verdict of the Supreme Court in the Ayodhya case.

We appeal to all the parties concerned and to all communities to abide by the secular values and spirit of fraternity enshrined in our Constitution and to maintain peace and harmony, the Congress added.

It is the responsibility of each one of us to reaffirm our tradition of mutual respect and unity among all that has defined our society through the ages, the Congress further said.

Following the verdict in Ayodhya case, lawyer of Sunni Waqf Board Zafaryab Jilani says, "We respect the SC's verdict. But we are not satisfied with it. Five acres of alternate land does not resolve the issue. We will decide the future course of action."

Jilani further appealed everyone to maintain peace and harmony in the nation.

"The social media cell of Uttar Pradesh Police is on alert and keeping an eye on objectionable tweets, comments and posts. We have marked 673 active accounts on social media for creating nuisance and cases are being registered. Internet could be blocked if a need is felt in any district of the state," says UP DGP OP Singh as the SC is all set to deliver historic judgment in the Ayodhya land dispute case.

Ahead of the Ayodhya verdict, as many as 20,000 troops have been stationed at ground zero, while a high alert has been sounded across Uttar Pradesh. All schools and colleges have been closed across UP till November 11 amid security concerns.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat will address the media at 1 pm, following the Supreme Court verdict in the Ayodhya land dispute case. The press conference will be held at Keshav Kunj parisar, Jhandewalan in Delhi.

Also, the representatives of All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) will also hold a press conference at Delhi's Ashoka Road following the verdict.

All schools and colleges across all major districts of Rajasthan have been closed for Saturday in anticipation of the Supreme Court's verdict in the Ayodhya land dispute case.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat appeals for peace and calm ahead of the pronouncement of the verdict in the decades-old Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid title dispute case by Supreme Court on Saturday. 

The RSS chief has also left for Delhi where he is due to hold deliberations with top BJP leaders, including Union Home Minister and BJP chief Amit Shah and party working president JP Nadda.

The Uttar Pradesh-Nepal border has been sealed following a meeting of top officials with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath around Friday midnight. Additional Chief Secretary for Home, Avanish Awasthi, said. He further said that no one without proper identification would be allowed to move along the sensitive border.

Awasthi added that railway forces have been directed to take safety and security of railway passengers inside trains and railway stations.

In view of the Supreme Court verdict in the most sensitive case of Ram Janmbhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute in Ayodhya today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, appealing to the countrymen, said that the decision will not be a victory or defeat of anyone. 

Taking to Twitter, he said, " "Whatever decision SC delivers in #Ayodhya case, it'll not be a victory or defeat of anyone. My appeal to the countrymen is that it should be the priority of all of us that this decision should further strengthen the great tradition of peace, unity & goodwill of India."

Section 144 (prohibits an assembly of more than 4 people in an area) has been imposed in all 10 districts of Jammu. All private as well as government schools and colleges to remain closed tomorrow on the day of the Ayodhya verdict. 

Section 144 has been imposed in entire Uttar Pradesh, ahead of the verdict. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also appealed to maintain peace and not spread rumours.

Section 144 has been declared across Bengaluru from 6 am tomorrow until Sunday midnight. Sale of liquor has also been banned for 48 hours starting tomorrow amid beefed up security with 50 Platoons of KSRP and 30 platoons of CAR in the city ahead of Ayodhya verdict.

Schools, colleges and other educational institutes will remain closed in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka and Delhi as SC is all set to deliver its verdict in the much-anticipated Ayodhya land dispute case on Saturday.
