EC, Union Law Ministry officials to meet on Tuesday over linking Aadhaar card with Voter ID card

An important meeting will be held between Election Commission (EC) and Union Law Ministry on Tuesday on the linking of Aadhaar card with Voter ID card. The meeting will be held at the EC office at 11.30 am.

Senior officials will hold the meeting. The EC is in favour of linking the Voter ID card with Aadhaar card to solve the problem of fake voter cards and has already written a letter to the Law Ministry.
