In today’s DNA, Zee News' Rohit Ranjan made an analysis of PM Narendra Modi’s nearly 85-minute speech in Lok Sabha.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday (February 7) launched a scathing attack on the Opposition for targetting him over the Adani-Hindenburg issue. Replying to the debate on the Motion of Thanks on the President's Address in Lok Sabha, PM Modi hit out at Congress and said its UPA rule will be known as a "lost decade".

In today’s DNA, Zee News' Rohit Ranjan made an analysis of PM Modi’s nearly 85-minute speech in Lok Sabha.

Even though PM Modi did not respond to any of the allegations leveled against him in the ongoing Adani issue, he targeted the entire Opposition including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

He presented some figures for the country's economic progress without giving a direct answer to the questions asked about industrialist Gautam Adani.

He hit out at Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra, calling the foot march a low one, citing an incident of him hoisting the tricolor at Lal Chowk in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar.

The Prime Minister also took a dig at the unemployment issue raised by Congress and said that the grand old party only brought laws in the name of unemployment, but did not work on them.

Further, he slammed Congress for making 'opportunity a problem' and referred to the scams during the 10-year tenure of UPA.

In his speech, Modi also spoke about the Enforcement Directorate (ED). He asked all the leaders of the opposition to thank the ED for "uniting them".

He said that the work which the public could not do in bringing the opposition to a single platform was done by the probe agency.

PM Modi also took a dig at those who applauded Rahul Gandhi's speech in Lok Sabha on Tuesday. He said that after the speech of some people, the "whole ecosystem starts bouncing".

He also surrounded Congress on one of its old statements.

Questioning the policies of the central government during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Congress party had said that there should be a study at Harvard University on the situation in India.

On Tuesday as well, Rahul Gandhi said that there should be a study at Harvard on how the Modi government helped a businessman become this rich.

After repeatedly hearing the mention of Harvard from Congress, PM Modi took the name of the Cambridge-based University and mentioned one of its studies, which was titled "Rise and decline of India’s Congress Party".

Prime Minister Narendra Modi advised Congress to brainstorm over the topic of the study.

During his speech, he also read a poem by Dushyant Kumar for the Congress, where he emphasised that, instead of raising the issues on which the government should be criticized, Congress is busy making false allegations.

PM Modi stated that the Leader of the Opposition mentions unemployment every time in his address, however, ironically, Congress during its tenure has only enacted laws in the name of unemployment, but did not take concrete steps.
