Cracker-like explosion near Nitish Kumar's 'Jansabha' in Nalanda, one detained

New Delhi: A man burst fire-creckers in Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's 'Jansabha' site in Nalanda on Tuesday (April 12). Nitish Kumar had reached Silao to address a Jan Sabha where a man burst firecrackers inside the pandal at the meeting place which caused a stampede. 

However, the man was detained by the police and was taken for interrogation. The cracker exploded just 15-18 feet away from the Stage where Nitish Kumar was seated. No injuries have been reported yet.

Bihar CM is on a visit to Nalanda for Jan Samvad Yatra. On Tuesday (April 12) Nitish Kumar reached Nanand village after attending a program at the Vardhman Institute of Medical Sciences in Pawapuri where he was given a grand welcome by the villagers.

Recently, there was a lapse in CM's security in Bakhtiyarpur during a program too.
