Atrauli Election result 2022: Atrauli assembly constituency that falls under the Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh is witnessing a five cornered contest as all the four prominent parties i.e. BJP, Congress, SP and BSP, and AAP who had newly joined the elections in UP have launched their candidates in the contest. All 5 candidates from the major parties are male. While BJP and SP have fielded their 2017 assembly election candidates Sandeep Kumar Singh and Veeresh Yadav respectively AAP, Congress and BSP have projected, Khem Singh, Dharmendra Kumar, and Omveer Singh respectively.

BJP candidate Sandeep Kumar Singh is leading in Atrauli Vidhan Sabha seat with 89960 votes. Samajwadi Party candidate is trailing with 44485 votes followed by BSP's Omvir Singh who has managed to gain 14004 votes

The assembly seat witnessed a tough competition between BJP's Sandeep Kumar Singh and SP's Veeresh Yadav.
BJP has mostly won this seat in the assembly polls. BJP has won the Atrauli seat 7 times since the 1977 elections.

BJP once again has fielded its winner candidate of the 2017 Assembly elections Sandeep Kumar Singh who won the MLA seat from Atrauli assembly constituency leaving behind SP candidate Veeraesh Yadav with a huge margin of over 50,000 votes.

BJP has fielded Sandeep Kumar Singh for the 2022 Assembly elections who also claimed the victory in Atrauli assembly constituency in 2017 polls with 115,397 votes leaving behind the SP candidate Viresh Yadav.

SP candidate for Atrauli Vidhan Sabha:

Akhilesh Yadav's party has once again handed over the fate of Atrauli assembly seat to Veeresh Yadav who lost the same in 2017 assembly polls to the BJP candidate Sandeep Kumar Singh getting only 64, 430 votes.

Congress candidate for Atrauli Vidhan Sabha:

The Congress party is fighting the UP Assembly elections on its own unlike the 2017 Assembly polls when it formed an alliance with the Samajwadi Party. Congress pitched Dharmendra Kumar for the Atrauli seat in Assembly Polls 2022.

Other than Congress, BJP and SP, AAP and BSP have also fielded their candidates for the Atrauli assembly seat. BSP has pitched Omveer Singh for the Assembly elections 2022 while AAP has fielded Khem Singh for the Atrauli seat.
