New Delhi: One of the most talked about ventures in Hollywood, 'First Man' is based on the life of Neil Armstrong—the first man to land on the moon. The biopic stars dashing star Ryan Gosling in the titular role of Armstrong. The trailer of 'First Man' has been unveiled and looks quite impressive. The screenplay is written by Josh Singer and the movie is based on the book First Man: The Life of Neil A Armstrong by James R. Hansen. The film is directed by Damien Chazelle and has an ensemble star cast.

It features Ryan Gosling as Neil Armstrong, Claire Foy, Corey Stoll, Kyle Chandler, Jason Clarke, Shea Whigham, and Christopher Abbott.

The story presents the hardships faced in the years leading up to the Apollo 11 mission in 1969. 'First Man' is scheduled to be released on October 12, 2018. It has been produced by Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and Damien Chazelle.
