The hosts were off to a sparkling start, courtesy of their opening pair. Both got off to starts and looked like they will get to their respective fifties with ease butÂ Bavuma slipped out against the run of play. Soon his opening partner followed suit. The last time an ODI took place at this venue was in 2020 when South Africa took on Australia where the Proteas chased down 272 runs with ease.
