A father's heartfelt message on son's death - Alabama 'miracle baby' born without nose dies at 2

New Delhi: Eli Thompson, an Alabama boy who was born in 2015 without a nose due to a rare condition known as arhinia, died at his home on Saturday - three months after celebrating his second birthday.

Eli was premature and did not have any nasal passages or sinus cavities when he was born on March , 2015, and was given a trachaotomy at five days old.

His father Jeremy Finch posted a heartfelt message on his Facebook post Sunday, along with the link to an article about the boy’s death in AL.com

“We lost our little buddy last night,” Jeremy Finch posted on Facebook. “I’ll never be able to make sense of why this happened, and this will hurt deeply for a long time. But I’m so blessed to have had this beautiful boy in my life!”
