Mumbai: Deepika Padukone, who has wowed not just her fans in India but overseas too by her scintillating beauty, has graced the cover of Filmfare December edition and oh boy, she looks dayum hot.

On the cover, we can see Deepika wearing shimmering magenta top and matching earrings. Deepika’s wavy hair unkempt hair adds to her personality while the subtle makeup enhances her natural beauty. Her gaze is intense enough to grab your attention almost instantly.

Shot in Sri Lanka, the photo-shoot displays Deepika’s sensuous side. Indian movie tracker Ramesh Bala took to Twitter to share some of the images from the photo shoot.

The beauty from Bengaluru, who made her acting debut with Kannada film Aishwarya is Bollywood producers hot favourite. After winning appreciation for her performance in Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela, Piku and Bajirao Mastani, Deepika forayed into the world of Hollywood with Vin Diesel’s actioner – xXx: Return of Xander Cage in January this year.

The dimpled beauty’s latest – Padmavati – is in the eye of the storm. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and co-starring Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, the unreleased film has drawn flak over its content. Rajput organisations have alleged that the makers of the film have attempted to distort history by misrepresenting facts but Padmavati team has refuted all allegations and has even issued a statement to end all rumours.

However, amid protests and politics, Padmavati is also struggling to get certified by the Censor Board. The film which was slated to release on December 1 has now been indefinitely deferred.

Deepika plays Rani Padmavati and has been paired with Shahid Kapoor who portrays Maharawal Ratan Singh while Ranveer Singh is on board for the role of Alauddin Khilji.
