'Freeman' Sanjay Dutt has seven films in kitty?
Dutt will first complete Shah’s ‘Sher’ which also stars Pakistani actress Humaima Malik and Vivek Oberoi.
Mumbai: Sanjay Dutt was released from the Yerwada Jail in Pune on February 25. The actor who was last seen in Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’, will reportedly resume his work with Soham Shah’s ‘Sher’.
According to a report in DNA, Dutt will first complete Shah’s ‘Sher’ which also stars Pakistani actress Humaima Malik and Vivek Oberoi.
"Dutt is first committed to finish Soham's film because Soham's career has come to a standstill. He has seven films lined up after his release from jail. But Siddharth Anand's project is not one of them,” DNA quoted a source as saying.
The makers of the Munna Bhai series too are eager to come up with a new franchise. Going by the latest buzz, Sanjay wouldn’t take too long to make his presence felt on the silver screen.
Sanjay was lodged in the Yerwada Jail in Pune since May 2014. The Supreme Court had convicted the actor under the Arms Act for possessing a prohibited weapon.
He was released after being granted remission in his five-year jail term. The actor had spent about 18-months earlier as an under trial in Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail.
