Mumbai: The trailer of Vishal Pandya’s Wajah Tum Ho starring Sana Khan, Rajniesh Duggall, Gurmeet Choudhary and Sharman Joshi was unveiled recently. The trailer grabbed eyeballs and generated much noise over its bold content.
Former Bigg Boss contestant and lead actress Sana, is apparently surprised to see people reacting to “bold” content in films.
Talking about intimate scenes, Sana said, “I find it weird when industry people talk like 'that kind of scenes'. It is funny. I wonder what the audience will talk. Today, every single movie has a kissing scene. I don't know why there is so much noise on doing intimate scenes.”
At a time when a number of films have explicit and steamy scenes, Sana wonders why only Pandya’s film is being put under the scanner. She said, “There are so many films which have steamy scenes. Nobody puts a question on them.”
The 'Jai Ho' actress said when people in India are becoming more open, intimate scenes aren't a taboo anymore.
"It was part of the story. Today, we are open to western culture. We love to see Hollywood movies so much. When we are so open about everything, it is weird to raise brows on intimate scenes."
"When I signed the film, people said I might be categorised in a certain way. They said the same when I entered 'Big Boss'. Every actor has a different journey. Whatever I've done, it has turned out positive for me because I've done it with the right intention."
Sana said: "As an actress, I always want to do new things. I have done a small role in 'Jai Ho'. It was a negative character and now audience will see me in a proper role in the two and a half hours movie. I think that's growth." She said.
The trailer of 'Wajah Tum Ho' crossed 10 million views on YouTube in just 12 hours of its release and the actress said she is extremely happy with the response.
The thriller loaded with steamy content is slated to release on December 2.
