Priyanka Chopra to romance Irrfan Khan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next?

Mumbai: Sanjay Leela Bhansali pulled off a stunner with his latest – Bajirao Mastani – a film that created a spectacle on celluloid and thus swayed moviegoers with his craftsmanship.

With Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone on board the ambitious project, Bhansali proved that he is a pro in making cinema.

And the latest that we hear is that the filmmaker’s next would be based on poet-lyricist Sahir Ludhianvi. And SLB has reportedly roped in Irrfan Khan to play Sahir and Priyanka Chopra to essay Amrita Pritam, a report in TOI suggested.

It is also believed that Sushant Singh Rajput was offered the role of Sahir, but the handsome actor didn’t grab the opportunity. Why Sushant declined the offer, however, is not known. But it would be nice to see Priyanka and Irrfan back together on the silverscreen after ‘7 Khoon Maaf’.
