'Neerja' Box Office collections: Ram Madhvani's stunning biopic fetches 4.70 cr on first day!

New Delhi: Sonam Kapoor, Shabana Azmi starrer 'Neerja' has welcomed appreciations from all walks of life and particularly from the Bollywood fraternity.

Directed by Ram Madhvani, 'Neerja' is an autobiographical tale of 1986 slain Pan Am 73 chief purser Neerja Bhanot who was later awarded the prestigious Ashok Chakra.

'Neerja' released in 700 screens and has received positive response from audience and critics.

Film critic and analyst Taran Adarsh took to twitter to share the day one collections.
