New Delhi: Pulkit Samrat has been going through a lot in his life, including split from wife Shweta Rohira, but the actor says whatever happens at his personal front never hinders his professional commitments.

The 32-year-old 'Fukrey' actor said his passion for acting keeps him occupied and happy.

"I don't think about anything else, but my work. My personal life does not affect my professional life. I just keep working towards my passion (acting) and that keeps me happy," Pulkit told PTI.

Pulkit, who got married to Salman Khan's Rakhi sister Shweta in 2014, decided to part ways after one year of marriage.

Ever since the reports of him separating from his wife came out, the actor has been romantically linked to his "Sanam Re" co-star Yami Gautam. However, he is unperturbed by the rumours.

"These are (link-up reports) are such small things in comparison to all the hard work the crew has put in. Giving heat to such things don't make any sense. One should just keep working because at the end of the day only your work will count," he said.

The "Oh Teri" actor may have had a failed relationship, but still finds love beautiful. For him "true love" is the one which is beyond pretentiousness. "Love is beautiful. Being in love for me is being myself and be comfortable with the person I am in love with. There should be no pretence, no mask, no walls and selflessness. That I think comes when you understand love."

Yami and Pulkit share a great on-screen chemistry and after "Sanam Re", which releases on February 12, they will be seen in romantic-musical movie "Junooniyat," set to release later this year.

"The next film two of us will be seen in is 'Junooniyat'. It is a beautiful romantic musical movie with great actors. We have completed the project almost and only three to four days of work is left," he said.

Apart from "Junooniyat," Pulkit will be working on the sequel to his 2013 hit "Fukrey" and the original cast including Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal, Varun Sharma and Manjot Singh will return for the project.

"I will be working on 'Fukrey' sequel next. It will go on floors in August. I am really excited about the my another outing with Excel Entertainment and crazy 'Fukrey' bunch."

Director Mrigdeep Singh Lamba will again helm the project.
