96th Academy Awards: Check Full List Of Winners 

Director Christopher Nolan's biopic film 'Oppenheimer' shinned at the Oscars 2024 with seven wins including Best Director, Best Film, and Best Leading Actor awards. The film took a total of seven awards during the night, Christopher Nolan won best director, Cillian Murphy won best actor and Robert Downey Jr. won best supporting actor. The film also won awards for best cinematography, best original score and best film editing.

Oscars 2024: RRR Action Scene Shown At Academy

At this year’s Academy Awards, an action scene featuring Ram Charan and Jr NTR from SS Rajamouli’s movie RRR was a part of a montage that was shared to pay tribute to the contribution of stunt coordinators to cinema across the world. The official X handle of RRR also shared the clip from the ceremony.

Oscars 2024: Oppenheimer Dominates Academy Awards 

The incontestable Oppenheimer made a clean sweep at the 96 Academy Awards taking home 7 trophies out of its 13 nominations. Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster which chronicles the life and times of the father of the atomic bomb, J Robert Oppenheimer, was an inevitable win in the major categories. The film bagged the Best Picture award, as well as Best Director for Nolan.

Oscars 2024: Jimmy Kimmel's Jibe At Donald Trump

Jimmy Kimmel took a dig at Donald Trump while onstage at the 96th Oscars less than an hour after the ex-president penned a scathing Truth Social post about the late-night talk show host. “Has there EVER been a WORSE HOST than Jimmy Kimmel at The Oscars. His opening was that of a less than average person trying too hard to be something which he is not, and never can be,” Kimmel read aloud Trump’s post from his phone.

Kimmel then quipped: “See if you can guess which former president just posted that on Truth Social.” He then thanked Trump for watching before asking: “Isn’t it past your jail time?”

Celebrated filmmaker Christopher Nolan finally bagged his first-ever Oscar for his latest release 'Oppenheimer' starring Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt and Robert Downey Jr. Yoked with Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie using the hashtag #Barbenheimer, the film became a significant commercial hit with a decent box office collection.
