'Comedy Nights' needed a 'Bachao' from Akshay Kumar over racist jokes on Lisa Haydon? Details inside
Akshay Kumar miffed over a racist remark in 'Comedy Nights Bachao'
New Delhi: This is not the first time when 'Comedy Nights Bachao' is making headlines for wrong reasons. The comedy show, which went on air not sometime long ago, had apparently miffed none other than superstar Shah Rukh Khan when the latter came on the show to promote his movie, 'Dilwale'.
This time, it's the action hero Akshay Kumar who had come with some other celebs to promote his upcoming venture 'Housefull 3'. But, a series of racist remarks made by comedian Siddharth Jadhav on the show reportedly miffed Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh.
As per a NDTV report, comedian Siddharth was making fun of the actress Lisa Haydon and even went to an extent of calling her with names like 'Kangaroo' and 'Black African'. The report further states that his comic act didn't go well with the 'Housefull 3' stars as both Akshay and Riteish took offence and immediately intervened to stop the comedian.
A unit hand on the sets was quoted as saying, "But when it went out of hand, he couldn't control himself. He was upset that the comedians were aware that Lisa wasn't too well versed in Hindi and wouldn't even understand the few lines that the guys uttered. So, he thought it was all the more unfair that one would make fun of a person who didn't even know the language well."
All we can say is anything in it's extreme is bad, so better limit yourself!
