New Delhi: When it comes to adopting babies – it is no child's play. Although in many western countries, adoption of babies is still a feasible idea, in India it means a big deal.

Shobhana:

This popular South-Indian actress who is also an excellent Bharatnatyam dancer broke all stereotypes and adopted daughter Ananthanarayani when she was just 6-months old. The baby adoption ceremony was also celebrated with much fun-fare at a popular temple in Kerala.

Raveena Tandon:

Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon adopted two daughters Pooja and Chaya at 11 and 18 years of age respectively. Raveena was young and a single mother when she adopted the girls – it was also a time when she was enjoying her success at the film industry.
