New Delhi: Bollywood young gun Shraddha Kapoor will next be seen in 'Rock On 2'. A film which is a sequel to 2008 superhit musical drama 'Rock On'. Shraddha and Shashank Arora are the new faces in the sequel, whereas Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli, Prachi Desai and Shahana Goswami have been retained from the original one.

Recently, while launching the official trailer of the flick, the star cast was popped with various questions by the media. Speaking at the event, Shraddha was asked about it feels to sing for the musical film like 'Rock On 2'.

The actress replied, saying, "I am exploring singing. I am liking this. Rarely does an actor get a chance to sing in his or her movie so, I feel extremely fortunate to have got this opportunity."

Talking about 'rock music' she said, "Rock music is a new genre for me as a singer and it was challenging. But as I am a fan of this kind of music, it was special too that I got to sing these tracks."

Shraddha and lead actor Farhan Akhtar also performed to a few numbers from the film's album at the event. The actress said she has realised that for a musician there's nothing better than performing live.

"I always heard from musicians that nothing gives them more kick than performing live. Now that I have done that, I can vouch for it. It feels amazing," she said.

Also starring Arjun Rampal, Prachi Desai, Purab Kohli and Shashank Arora ('Titli' fame), the film will arrive in theatres on November 11. It has been helmed by debutant Shujaat Saudagar.
