Shraddha Kapoor clears the air about her relationship status

New Delhi: Since quite a few days now, it was being said that Shraddha Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar have been dating each other. But, apparently, all such talks were mere rumours. Recently, the 29-year-old actress confirmed that she is single.

"I am actually the one who gets affected by all these news (on link-up with actors). My parents pacify me and say it's part and parcel of life. I am very happily single, romancing my movies right now," IANS quoted the 'Ek Villain' diva as saying.

She added, "I wonder where these things come up from. It's so sad and it's so unfair...when the headline of the article is related to the link-up. It is so disrespectful to the actor who is giving them so much time." 

Shraddha and Farhan will be hitting the silver screens with 'Rock On 2' on November 11 this year.

'Rock On!!' launched the acting careers of Prachi Desai and Farhan. Farhan even produced the film, which also stars Arjun Rampal, Luke Kenny and Purab Kohli and 'Rock On 2' is a sequel of the film.

The film was about the fate of a Mumbai-based rock band Magik, members of which reunite after a decade-long split.

'Rock On 2' also features Shashank Arora.
