Rakhi Sawant defends Mika Singh in molestation case – Details inside

Mumbai: It doesn’t take too long for foes to turn friends in the showbiz industry. Rakhi Sawant and Mika Singh have set a prime example by letting bygones be bygones. And now that the flamboyant singer is in trouble owing to a molestation case registered against him, his ‘friend’ and ‘well-wisher’ Rakhi has come out to defend him.

According to a report in thequint.com, Rakhi believes that Mika is innocent.

Rakhi doesn’t want people to associate Mika’s troubled past with his present. According to her, Mika is a transformed man now.

While addressing reporters, Rakhi said, “Mika is innocent this time. He hasn’t committed any punishable offence. It saddens me when I see some women doing such things for the sake of publicity. They aspire to be a part of shows like ‘Bigg Boss’ and ‘Splitsvilla’ by voluntarily getting into controversy. The police must understand that these are false allegations and hence they mustn’t investigate Mika.

For the uninitiated, Mika and Rakhi made headlines after the former kissed the latter at his birthday party about a decade ago. This led to an ugly fight between the two.
