New Delhi: Ace comedian-actor Kapil Sharma took to social media and voiced his concern over bribery prevalent in Mumbai's civic body. His tweets regarding corruption in BMC called for immediate attention, as political bigwigs expressed varied opinions on social media platforms.
After Manohar Pawar, chief of vigilance while addressing the media said that the concerned official will be punished if found guilty, yet another shocking revelation has been made regarding the actor-comedian which stands in complete contrast to his claim.
According to DNA.com, the BMC has released some documents which allegedly reveal that the office building where Kapil is planning to construct his workspace was considered 'illegal construction' and that a notice was issued to him on July 16, 2016.
The DNA report states that the BMC notice asked Kapil to stop the construction work and note to the Versova Police Station in Andheri, Mumbai.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis too took to Twitter and asked Kapil to provide all the necessary details. He assured him that strictest action will be taken against the culprit.
