Daljeet Kaur demands alimony from estranged husband Shaleen Bhanot

Mumbai: Daljeet Kaur who has separated from husband Shaleen Bhanot after she realised he was allegedly cheating on her. The actress has reportedly filed for divorce now and has demanded alimony for her and their son’s monthly maintenance.

According to a report in DNA, Daljeet wants a good standard of living and wants Shaleen to give her Rs 1.5 to Rs 1 lakh and Rs 50,000 for their son Shaarav’s maintenance.

“They wear only branded clothes, dine at posh Five Star Hotels and Restaurants. They shop at some of the best places. They gift each other expensive gifts on birthdays and other important occasions which is never less than Rs. One lakh. They usually travel abroad for holidays. While holidaying out, they stay only in suites in the best of hotels/ resorts. They spend extravagantly on family functions,” DNA quoted Daljeet as saying.

However, Shaleen chose not to speak much on the issue but said, “law is made for those hundreds of women who are suffering from domestic violence and it’s high time people stopped filing false complaints.”
