Comedian Rehman Khan arrested on rape charges
Rehman Khan, a popular face on Indian television, best known for his performances in 'Comedy Circus' has been arrested on rape charges, reports suggest.

New Delhi: Rehman Khan, a popular face on Indian television, best known for his performances in 'Comedy Circus' has been arrested on rape charges, reports suggest.
According to a report in Times Of India, a 30-year-old woman from Mumbai accused Khan of rape and filed a police complaint on February 29, 2016.
The complaint has been lodged at Santacruz Police station. Report further suggests that Rehman and the woman connected via social media platform following which the former took Rs 2 lakh as loan from the latter.
The comedian reportedly called the woman to a hotel in Vasai and raped her.
