Get ready girls! It is that time of the year when Goddess Durga comes down on earth and the festive fervor takes the entire nation in its grip. Durga Puja festival is celebrated from the sixth to tenth day of bright lunar fortnight (shukla paksha) in the Bikram Sambat calendar month of Ashwin, as per Hindu tradition. It is the festival of celebrating victory of good over evil.

During Navratri and Durga Puja—everyone and especially the women folk are dressed in their best attires.
