The bookings for the Vida V1 electric scooters start on 10th October 2022. The scooters can be booked for an amount of Rs 2,499.

Hero Vida V1 deliveries will start in December 2022.

The Hero Vida V1 Pro is priced at Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom) and Vida V1 Pro is priced at Rs 1.59 lakh (ex-showroom).

The potential consumers of Vida V1 can take a 3 day test ride.

Hero Vida has been launched in two variants namely the V1 Pro and V1 Plus, with both having a top speed of 80 kmph.

The Vida V1 gets connected features with navigation options, connectivity, and a digital instrument cluster.

Hero Motocorp decided to introduce a new brand name after a feud with Hero Electric over retaining the Hero brand name. The matter went to the courts, where Hero Electric, a separate company then Hero Motocorp, was awarded the rights to retain the Hero tag. 

At the time of the brand's announcement the company had plans to launch it first EV in July.

The electric scooter brand Vida under Hero was announced back in March and is now launching its first electric two-wheeler in India.

If the electric scooter gets the swappable battery technology, then it will be one of the first to have the feature.

The electric scooter is expected to have disc brakes on both ends, a digital instrument cluster, connected tech, and many more features.

Hero Motocorp previously collaborated with Taiwan-based technology startup Gogoro to obtain the swappable battery technology for its upcoming Vida V1.

Hero Motocorp is developing the scooter after thorough testing and developing thousands of prototypes to have their first be the one without problems.

The deliveries of the Hero Vida V1 electric scooters are expected to begin by the end of this year.

Hero Vida electric scooter will face tough competition in the Indian market because of the multiple rivals in the segment that have already created a space for themselves in the market.

Based on the images of the Hero Vida electric scooter leaked earlier, the EV will get 5-spoke alloy wheels with telescopic forks on the front end.

Hero Motocorp has tested the scooter for more than 200,000 km in varied testing conditions. Also, over 1,006 prototypes of the scooter and child parts have been developed and tested during the course.

The new electric scooter opens new doors for its makers in the electric two-wheeler segment of the Indian market, also giving them a chance to get profits from the increasing trends in favour of EVs.

Hero Motorcorp has released multiple teasers for the Vida electric scooter on its social media platforms without revealing much of the details. The brand has managed to keep it its "best-kept secret."

The launch event of the Hero Vida electric scooter is scheduled to begin at 1 pm today, October 7. It will take place at the Global Centre for Innovation and Technology in Jaipur.
