Rajasthan Public Service Commission recruitment: Applications invited for headmasters

Jaipur: Applications have been for the post of headmasters (secondary education) by Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). As per reports, there are 1200 vacancies. 

In order to apply, candidates should log on to the official website - rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. They can apply from April 9, 2018, to May 8, 2018.

The age limit, as on 01-07-2019, is minimum 24 years and maximum 40 years. For SC/ST/OBC male candidates there is an age relaxation of 5 years. For SC/ST/OBC female candidates there is an age relaxation of 10 years. For PwD general candidates there is an age relaxation of 10 years. For PwD OBC candidates there is an age relaxation of 13 years and for PwD SC/ST candidates there is an age relaxation of 15 years.

Candidates who wish to apply should have a bachelor’s degree with degree or diploma in education. They should also have a minimum of five years teaching experience in any school. They will be selected on the basis of written examination.

As per the official website, "in view of its important and impartial function, Public Service Commissions find a place of pride in the Indian Constitution. Articles 16, 234, 315 to 323 deal with various functions and powers of the Public Service Commissions. The working of RPSC is also regulated by Rajasthan Public Service Commission Rules and Regulation, 1963, rules framed by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission for the conduct of their business and the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (Regulations and validation of Procedure ordinance 1975 and Act 1976)."
