Mumbai University changes convocation ceremony dress code to traditional Indian wear

The dress code for the convocation ceremony of Mumbai University has been changed from black coats and caps to traditional Indian wear. The Vice-Chancellor will form a committee to decide what will be the new Indian dress.

The University Administration Council approved this decision to change the dress code on Wednesday. Earlier, the Savitribai Phule University in Pune had decided to change the dress code for the convocation ceremony.
