There will be four rounds of counselling i.e. Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round. Out of these four rounds, three rounds will be conducted online by MCC i.e. Round 1, Round 2 and Mop-Up Round. The Stray Vacancy round will be conducted by the respective Deemed Universities for which a list of students in order of merit, equaling to ten times the number of vacant seats will be forwarded to the Deemed Universities for the Stray Vacancy round.

Candidates will have to log on to website www.mcc.nic.in (which will be operational shortly) to get registered and then fill in choices. Please study counseling scheme carefully. Fresh Registration with payment of registration fee for Mop Up Round for the following candidates :

Who registered in Round-2 & exited with Forfeiture of fees can register again with payment of fees. However, candidates who have already joined and taken admission in Round-2 of AIQ/Deemed/ Central Universities/AIIMS/JIPMER will not be eligible to participate in Mop Up Round. (Those who registered but were not allotted a seat in Round-1 & Round-2 need not register again).

NEET UG 2023 Counselling Live Updates: Counselling Round 2

Candidates who register for Round-1 and do not get any seat allotted are not required to register again.

a) Fresh New Registration for Round-2 for those candidates who - Have not registered in Round-1 (with full payment of fees),  Have Resigned / Not reported in Round-1 need not register again, Fresh Choice filling Round-2.

NEET UG 2023 Counselling Live Updates: Round 1 Of Counselling 

Process for Roud 1 of Counselling for AIQ/Central Institutes/University/AIIMS/JIPMER/Deemed University/AMU/BHU/B.Sc. Nursing

a) Main counseling Registration which will include payment of Non-Refundable Registration fee and Refundable Security Deposit (to be refunded only in the account from which payment has been made).

b) Exercising of Choices and Locking of choices.

c) Process of Seat Allotment Round-1

d) Publication of result of Round-1on MCC website

e) Reporting at the allotted Medical/Dental College against 1 Round.

(Candidates who have allotted a seat in round one can opt for willingness to upgrade from round 1 to round 2 for which they will have to physically report at the allotted college.) 

NEET UG 2023 Counselling Updates: JIPMER Seat Allocation

JIPMER has its own eligibility and admission policies for its internal seats/domicile which the Candidates are advised to go through the same. The seat matrix/information of JIPMER for NEET UG is provided by JIPMER. Candidates are advised to go through the Information Bulletin of JIPMER for checking the eligibility conditions, seat status etc. before applying for the same.

NEET UG 2023 Counselling Live: Admission In AFMC

Candidates who desire to participate in AFMC Counseling will be required to register on the MCC portal i.e. www.mcc.nic.in.  The list of registered candidates will be sent to AFMC Authorities for conducting counseling at their own end as per their rules and regulations of AFMC Authorities.  The role of MCC is limited to registration of the willing Candidates only. 

Candidates must verify the Eligibility Conditions (especially Medical Eligibilty conditions) from the AFMC website before applying for AFMC Counselling. There have been instances of cancellation of admission due to non-fulfillment of Medical Eligibility Conditions.

NEET UG 2023 Counselling Live Updates: Seat Quoata In BHU

All NEET-UG qualified candidates across India are eligible to participate in the UG counselling of IMS, BHU as all the it has 100% seats domicile free. There will be four rounds of counselling i.e. Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round for which counselling will be conducted by MCC.

NEET UG 2023 Counselling Live Updates: Counselling Process For AMU (Aligarh Muslim University)

There will be four rounds of counselling i.e. Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round for which counselling will be conducted by MCC. All the candidates who have qualified for NEET-UG on the basis of their rank in NEET UG conducted by NTA including candidates from Union Territory of J&K will be eligible.

There is no reservation in AMU open seats and institutional seats as per the information provided by AMU Authorities except for 5% PwD Horizontal reservation.  For the seats of Internal quota of AMU, as per the eligibility provided by AMU authorities, all the seats will be under UR as the same is reserved only for the internal candidates of AMU.

MCC shall provide the list of registered Candidates under the AMU internal quota. AMU shall verify and send the list of eligible candidates to MCC who will be considered as internal AMU candidates for internal AMU quota. 

NEET UG 2023 Counselling Live Updates: Counselling For Medical, Dental Colleges Under Delhi University

15% Seats will be contributed by the Delhi University to All India Quota. For the rest 85% seats, candidates who have studied 11th&12th grade in Delhi NCT are eligible for Institutional Quota of 85% in Delhi University. Counselling schedule on the 15% AIQ seats shall be applied by the MCC of DGHS, MoHFW. For the 85% seats of Internal quota of DU, the DU will apply the schedule and send the same to the MCC of DGHS, MoHFW for allotment for which the MCC shall not be held liable if any discrepancy arises. 

NEET UG 2023 Counselling Live Update: All About AIQ and State Quota

The MCC will conduct counselling for 15% AIQ and 85% State Quota seats of Central University/Institutes. The counselling for 15% AIQ is domicile free. The eligibility conditions for the State quota is given by the colleges/institutes, MCC has no role to play in determining the eligibility conditions for the State quota of the Central Universities/Institutes. Candidates who are willing to apply for the state quota are advised to go through the eligibility conditions before applying for the State quota of the Central Universities/Institutes and ensure that they meet the prescribed eligibility conditions.

The Counselling for 100% AIIMS seats shall be applied by the MCC of DGHS, MoHFW. For admission in AIIMS candidate should have have qualified NEET UG. No requiremnt of particular domicile and further the eligibility conditions  will be applicable as per AIIMS.

NEET UG 2023 Counselling Live Updates: MCC's Important Notice For Candidates

MCC in its latest notice has asked all the candidates who have registered themselves under PwD quota in NEET-UG(2023) to get the disability certificate issued from any one of the designated NEET Disability screening Centre through online mode. "All candidates who have registered themselves under PwD quota in NEET-UG(2023) NTA form are hereby informed that the PwD portal for generation of PwD certificates by the Designated Disability NEET screening Centres is now open. Hence, the candidates who are desirous to get a PwD seat through the MCC counselling process may get the disability certificate issued from any one of the designated NEET Disability screening Centre (as per list attached below) through online mode only, stated MCC."
