NEET UG 2023 Counselling Result Live Update: All About AIQ and State Quota

The MCC is conducting counselling for 15% AIQ and 85% State Quota seats of Central University/Institutes. The counselling for 15% AIQ is domicile free. The eligibility conditions for the State quota is given by the colleges/institutes, MCC has no role to play in determining the eligibility conditions for the State quota of the Central Universities/Institutes. Candidates who are willing to apply for the state quota are advised to go through the eligibility conditions before applying for the State quota of the Central Universities/Institutes and ensure that they meet the prescribed eligibility conditions.

According to MCC's official schedule, the results for the 1st round of counselling will be released on July 29 and the shortlisted candidates will be required to upload documents on MCC's official website and will have to report and join the alloted college from July 31 to August 4.

NEET UG 2023 Counselling Result Live Updates: What To Do After Round 1 Seat Allotment

Candidates who will be shortlisted in the 1st round of NEET UG 2023 Counselling will be required to upload documents on MCC's official website and will have to report and join the alloted college from July 31 to August 4. The document verification process will be held by the alloted institution from August 5 to August 6.

15% Seats will be contributed by the Delhi University to All India Quota. For the rest 85% seats, candidates who have studied 11th&12th grade in Delhi NCT are eligible for Institutional Quota of 85% in Delhi University. Counselling schedule on the 15% AIQ seats shall be applied by the MCC of DGHS, MoHFW. For the 85% seats of Internal quota of DU, the DU will apply the schedule and send the same to the MCC of DGHS, MoHFW for allotment for which the MCC shall not be held liable if any discrepancy arises. 

NEET UG 2023 Counselling Live Updates: Number Of Rounds Of Counselling

There will be four rounds of counselling i.e. Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round. Out of these four rounds, three rounds will be conducted online by MCC i.e. Round 1, Round 2 and Mop-Up Round. The Stray Vacancy round will be conducted by the respective Deemed Universities for which a list of students in order of merit, equaling to ten times the number of vacant seats will be forwarded to the Deemed Universities for the Stray Vacancy round.
