JEE Advanced 2017 registration begins after declaration of JEE Main result 2017; apply at jeeadv.ac.in

New Delhi: A day after the declaration of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)-Main results, JEE Advanced 2017 registration began on Friday.
Candidates can log on to jeeadv.ac.in to register for JEE Advanced 2017.
This year, the exam is being coordinated by IIT Madras.
The online registration closes at 5 pm on May 02, 2017 (Tuesday). Those who fail to register till 5 pm can do so, but after paying late fees.
The registration with late fee begins on May 03, 2017, at 10 am and closes on May 04, 2017, at 5 pm.
The JEE Advanced 2017 Exam will take place on May 21, 2017 (Sunday).
How to register for JEE Advanced exam:
Indian candidates
- JEE(Main) Qualified Candidates shall login at http://jeeadv.nic.in/jeeadvapp/root/loginpage.aspx with JEE (Main) Roll No and JEE (Main) Password. Also fill the security pin, which is case sensitive.
- Fill online Registration Form
- Upload the scanned certificates of Class X or DOB proof, Class XII (or equivalent) examination, Category, PwD, Scribe Request Letter, PIO Card / OCI Certificate, DS certificate as applicable in JPG/JPEG format
- Size of the Photograph must be greater than 4 KB and less than 10 KB
- Click “Pay Registration Fee” to make payment. Application fee can be paid using SBI Debit card/Internet banking or in cash at the nearest SBI branch
Foreign candidates
- Foreign candidates must click on 'Foreign Candidates Direct Registration` tab
- Fill online Registration Form
- Note down Login ID and Password
- Foreign candidates are required to upload the Photograph, Signature and scanned certificates of Class X or DOB proof, Class XII (or equivalent) examination, Identity Proof of the Candidate, Passport of Mother, Passport of Father, Passport of Candidate, Testimonial as applicable in JPG/JPEG.format
- Click “Pay Registration Fee” to make payment
The exam is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission to various government-approved engineering colleges, including the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs).
Over 11.8 lakh students had appeared for the exam at 1,781 centres in 113 cities across the country.
The cut-off for the JEE-Advanced has been set at 81 marks.
The JEE-Main examination was held on April 2 (offline) and April 8 and 9 (online).
